Our 4th annual romp is set for April 12, 2008. We are looking forward to another great day together! Following last years theme we are holding another “ROMP AROUND THE WORLD” in coordination with The International Doodle Owners Group, Inc. (idog)

Just as in previous years the romp will be held at our regular Long Island indoor venue. Although renting the facility is required, it is so nice not to have to worry about the weather. Hamburgers, hot dogs, cold drinks and
snacks will be served for the humans. Cost of the food is included in your entrance fee. As in the past, you can save a little by sending in your payment ahead of time rather than paying at the door.

I am thrilled to inform all our Doodle families that we are in the beginning stages of organizing the 2007 Doodle Romp. This year we have a theme "ROMP AROUND THE WORLD." The International Doodle Owners Group, Inc. (idog) is helping to coordinate a world wide Doodle Romp in conjunction with the International Day of the Dog. Just think a world wide romp!

This year's romp is being held at our regular Long Island indoor venue. Although renting the facility is required, those of you who have attended in the past know how nice it is not to have to worry about the weather. Our first year it rained "cats and doodles" (sorry, I just had to) while the next was a beautiful sunny day.

This year we plan on serving hamburgers and hotdogs, cold drinks and snacks. Your entrance fee will cover the cost of your lunch, but we will have a bucket for donations. 100% of the money raised will go to the International Doodle Owners Group for the work they do supporting the less fortunate Doodles. Idog is a non-profit organization.

If you or a family member would like to help us out during the day it will be very appreciated. Help will be needed in the following areas: Set up and/or clean up, food (serving and keeping Doodle noses out), water dishes will need to be maintained, garbage and Doodle clean-ups in case of accidents. If you will be able to lend a hand helping us out, please let us know. If you can give us an idea of the time of day you will be available, that would be great.

Ivy plans on being available to inform us all about the need to keep our Doodles cool in the summer. Summer cuts are an important part of keeping skin and ears healthy during the summer months. If you have any information, helpful hints or ideas you would like to share with others, please let us know and we can incorporate it into our day.
